A fifth-generation Texan, attorney Travis Weitzel grew up in and around the Austin area. Prior to starting his own firm, he practiced with the litigation law firm Howry Breen & Herman, LLP, where he gained extensive experience in contracts, insurance and personal injury matters, representing businesses, insurers and injured persons on both sides of the aisle.

In 2011, he established Travis Weitzel, P.C., to provide civil litigation defense and general civil law services to clients throughout Central Texas, including assistance with cases involving motor vehicle accidents, insurance litigation, commercial contracts and probate litigation.

Mr. Weitzel received an AV Preeminent® rating for ethical standards and legal ability from Martindale-Hubbell in 2014–2017. He was selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers® 2016 and 2017 Texas Rising Stars lists. He was also included in the National Association of Distinguished Counsel's list of the Nation's Top One Percent in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He received Lead Counsel Verification in 2017.

Mr. Weitzel has tried cases to jury verdicts in Travis, Hays and Williamson counties, and he has authored appellate briefs to the 3rd and 14th Texas Courts of Appeals and to the Texas Supreme Court.

Travis lives in Austin with his wife, Nicole, and sons, Rex and Hugo.
